Original Daystar Records Deadstock 7″ copies from 1980, courtesy of founding member of GANGSTER and SUITS, Don Gettys. SUITS were a Joliet area band that played at the notorious Edifice Lounge and evolved out of 1977-era GANGSTER, a tough-edged pop band whose anthem “Eileen” was later covered by Chicago pop legends The Rubs.

With cooperation from Don Gettys we’ve reproduced the original elusive picture sleeve in an edition of 40 with original vinyl copies, a true piece of Chicago-area underground DIY power pop history.
